The 16th Türkiye Energy Summit was held in Istanbul, under the theme “Energy Security and Investment Opportunities in the Euro-Mediterranean Region.”

Renewables.Az reports that the summit, organized under the auspices of Türkiye's Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources with the support of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), brought together representatives of government institutions, international organizations, regulatory authorities, energy companies, and investors.

The two-day event focused on energy security, regional cooperation, energy market integration, investment opportunities, renewable energy development, power grid infrastructure, energy storage technologies, and digitalization.

Discussions also addressed the impact of global and regional geopolitical developments on energy markets, financing the energy transition, developments in natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) markets, and opportunities to strengthen cross-border energy interconnections.

On the second day of the summit, Türkiye's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, participated in a special session and discussed key developments in the country's energy sector.

The Türkiye Energy Summit has been held since 2010, serving as an international platform bringing together public and private sector representatives from across the energy industry.
