Solar power plants in Azerbaijan generated 282.7 million kWh of electricity in the first quarter of this year, marking a 10.1% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Renewables.az reports, citing the Ministry of Energy, that solar power plants operated by Azerenerji OJSC (Nakhchivan Energy LLC) generated 27.4 million kWh of electricity during the reporting period, down 10.7% year-on-year.
