Azerbaijan's wind power generation surges more than 22-fold

Azerbaijan's wind power plants generated 475.7 million kWh of electricity in the first half of this year, marking a 22.7-fold increase compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Renewables.az reports, citing the Ministry of Energy, that wind power plants operated by Azerishiq OJSC generated 14 million kWh (-4.1%) of electricity during the reporting period.
