A meeting was held at “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company” CJSC (ASCO), one of the companies within AZCON Holding, with a delegation of experts from the World Bank. A representative of the State Agency on Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan also attended the meeting.

The discussions focused on the maritime service requirements expected to arise during the implementation of offshore wind energy projects planned in the Caspian Sea. Particular attention was given to the capabilities of ASCO's specialised fleet, the types of vessels that could be deployed at different stages of the projects, as well as the logistical support required for offshore construction and installation activities.

The participants also exchanged views on other potential areas of mutual cooperation.

Following the meeting, the guests visited the  "Across Three Centuries” museum, where they explored exhibits and archival materials showcasing the history and development of maritime transport in Azerbaijan.
